Lab Companion and Jiangxi Institute of Rare Earth Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences

    The Institute of Rare Earth Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Jiangxi Institute of Rare Earth Research),which was established on January 10, 2020, under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is integrating the scientific research strength of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and nearly 20 units in Jiangxi Province to participate in the preparation.

    As the only national research institution in China focusing on rare earth scientific and technological innovation, the Institute will, in response to the major needs of national strategy and industrial development, carry out innovative research on the whole chain around the core scientific and technological issues of green, efficient, balanced and high-value utilization of rare earth, and develop new technologies for green mining, smelting and efficient utilization of resources, develop new materials, expand new applications, cultivate new industries, increase added value, strengthen ecological environmental protection, and ensure the green and sustainable development of China's rare earth industry. It is committed to becoming a strategic scientific and technological force in China's rare earth field that reflects the national will, realizes the national mission, and represents the national power.
